Effective July 1, 2003, for those hunters intending to shoot game birds, it became mandatory to purchase a Game Bird Hunting Stamp, in addition to the Hunting License and Wildlife Conservation Stamp. This applies to all hunters including senior citizens and resident Kalaupapa patients.

Senior citizens and resident Kalaupapa patients shall be charged for stamps that are not affixed to hunting licenses.

In the near future, the Game Bird Hunting Stamp will be available for purchase online. Presently, only the Hunting License and Wildlife Conservation Stamp are available for online purchase. Licenses purchased are valid for the Fiscal Year 05 (July 1, 2004 – June 30, 2005).
